WOW! I appreciate the thoughts guys but I'm NOT even close to an IRON MAN (2.4 mile swim, 56 mile bike AND THEN 26.2 mile run). I'm doing well enough with my 300 yard swim (in a pool), 12.4 mile bike and 3.1 mile walk/run.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if anyone is interested in being part of a relay team for an Olympic distance Triathlon, I would be interested in that. Just let me know.
I'd ride the bike on a relay team...
ReplyDeleteI would swim the 2. 4 miles if you gave me a duck belt and orange arm floaties. Go team WWSD!
ReplyDeleteI would not care how we finish if I get to see Paul with a duck belt and orange arm floaties! Yes, go Team WWSD!
ReplyDeleteLocal International Triathlons are as follows:
ReplyDeleteFestival of Flowers, Greenwood, SC on 6/7
swim 1500 meters (.93 miles), bike 24 miles, run 10k (6.2 miles).
Hartsville International, Hartsville, SC on 9/6
swim 1500 meters (.93 miles), bike 27 miles, run 10k (6.2 miles).
Hickory Knob International, McCormick, SC on 10/17
swim 1500 meters (.93 miles), bike 28 miles, run 10k (6.2 miles).
Also at Hickory Knob is a Sprint Distance on 10/17
